Yes, & when the company makes a statement that the software is free & it turns out that it is NOT FREE, this is misleading to the consumer. I live in the UK & UK law states that is illegal to mislead the consumer in any way. Free Software supposed to mean free Software. If it is only a trial it should state that it is only a trial & to get the full version it has to indicate a price tag in advance. If the software has to be purchased to have all its features described in an advertisement, then it should be as described, otherwise, it breaches the Trade Descriptions Act here in the UK

Software vendors need more clarification & to be more specific when they describe their software & indicate if its free or to be purchased.

No! It's not "free"! It's a "free trial"! You know what that means with these so called free offers.
