A free version of OpenOffice 4.1.15 can be found on our software library. This program is included in Productivity, according to its main functionality. The Apache Software Foundation is the creator of OpenOffice.
The most widespread installation file names of this software are soffice.exe, simpress.exe, smath.exe, sbase.exe and swriter.exe etc. The program has been scanned by our built-in antivirus system, the analysis shows that this program is safe.
The software can be installed on Windows 2000/XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 32/64-bit. According to the information on our website the most popular versions of this tool are: 4.10, 4.01 and 4.1. This tool processes these files: ".ots", ".ott" and ".oxt". This program can be also called "OpenOffice.org", "OpenOffice.ux.pl", "OpenOffice.org.br".

The newest version is HORRIBLE. "Occasional crashes" is an understatement. It crashes EVERY TIME I use it and files aren't always recoverable like their earlier versions. And if it doesn't crash, it freezes to where I can't save a document, edit it, or even copy the content to paste to another program, such as Evernote, to insure I don't lose any of my hard work. All I can do is close the program, and hope the recovery tool is able to accomplish its job (which it doesn't do nearly as well as previous versions). After much frustration and attempted fixes, I've sadly abandoned OpenOffice. Good luck to you if you install this.
