i am using windows 10 and have downloaded different types of audio software but still doesn`t raise my levels of sound or volume to my laptop where my audio volume been turned up full and the sound is pretty low.

thomas john macdonald, try turning off "Dolby Digital Plus" in the speaker properties menu. Dolby and win 10 kick into headphones mode occasionally when an external speaker/headphones are connected.
