Could someone explain what "Byte errors in the 'Big file copy' mode" means?

If this program doesn't correctly copy files then what is it useful for?

SidB, Big file copy mode is available in the configurations as one of two optional alternatives to the standard copy mode marked ‘for experts only’, used for exceptionally big files. Standard copying is perfectly reliable and sufficient for all normal users. See my comment above.

Best file manager ever. I have been using this program ever since Norton Commander for DOS stopped development. Total Commander is a share ware but their business practice is superb. If you don't register, you have to enter a code number which is provided by the program itself to proceed.
I just wish Christian, the boss would come up with an Android version which mimics the PC version. They do have one, but frankly it is crap. It does have two panes and the icon is same, but the comparison ends there.

Have used this daily for decades.

Have recommended it to every one I've taught or tutored interested in computer literacy
