OpenOffice 4.1.15 is provided free of charge on our software library. OpenOffice is included in Productivity, according to its main functionality. Our antivirus system always scans the software for malware. It scanned this program and reported that it is clean to use.
The Apache Software Foundation is the developer of the software. OpenOffice is a tool which is frequently known as soffice.exe, simpress.exe, smath.exe, sbase.exe and swriter.exe, etc.
Sometimes, the tool is distributed under various names, like "OpenOffice.org", "OpenOffice.ux.pl", "OpenOffice.org.br". The most popular versions of the program are 4.10, 4.01 and 4.1. According to the system requirements, it supports the following OSs: Windows 2000/XP/XP Professional/Vista/7/8/10/11 32/64-bit. The program supports the following file formats: ".ots", ".ott" and ".oxt".
The newest version is HORRIBLE. "Occasional crashes" is an understatement. It crashes EVERY TIME I use it and files aren't always recoverable like their earlier versions. And if it doesn't crash, it freezes to where I can't save a document, edit it, or even copy the content to paste to another program, such as Evernote, to insure I don't lose any of my hard work. All I can do is close the program, and hope the recovery tool is able to accomplish its job (which it doesn't do nearly as well as previous versions). After much frustration and attempted fixes, I've sadly abandoned OpenOffice. Good luck to you if you install this.
