This free version is the best! I've been using the portable copy of this version (personal preference) for a few years, and there isn't much that I need to do as a grad student for viewing, annotating, bookmarking, and highlighting that it cannot do. If you need to add text, use text box, rectangle (to redact or cover up) or typewriter. The OCR is decent. It also has search engines (I added google translate to mine) web links, and more. I'm considering purchasing the Plus version just for those "extras", but I really don't need it for 98% of everything this person does.
Great software package, I use it all the time. Has many more functions than Acrobat and it's much cheaper. Not sure what functionality the free download has.
Why do you not tell us _ what does it actually do?
nice
"Nice clean interface"? The ribbon gives any app that uses it a littered look. This looks especially noisy. Their licensing system is unfathomable. Other than that, the company makes nice PDF software.
The Far best! I use thema man, man years.
